Broad range of solutions for a wide variety of drives and motors
Bihl+Wiedemann offers a wide range of solutions for drives from many leading manufacturers – for motorized rollers (Interroll, Itoh Denki, RULMECA), DC motors (EBM-Papst) and frequency inverters (SEW, NORD, Rockwell, Lenze, Bonfiglioli). Drives from other manufacturers can also be integrated. Combine our ASi-5 and ASi-3 solutions to always have the perfect mix for any requirement.
Advantages of ASi-5 drive solutions
- Large data size and short cycle times enable cyclic writing of speeds and ramps
Detailed diagnostics, as detecting an output short circuit or an overload of the sensor supply as well as drive-specific diagnostics such as reading the actual motor current
Standardized data mapping ensures optimum control, regardless of the drive used
With certain drives: the option to use the familiar PROFINET data mapping
With ASi-5 modules for motorized rollers: efficient control of 24 V and 48 V motorized rollers, since every roller can be supplied with 20 W, 35 W or up to 50 W via the AUX line
With ASi-5 modules for frequency inverters and DC motors: it is possible to change motor parameters conveniently and transparently and to restore them automatically in case of replacement
ASi-3 drive solutions for simple applications
Our drive solution portfolio is complemented by the long-established ASi-3 motor modules. They are particularly cost-effective and ideal for less demanding applications where, for example, simple start and stop functions are sufficient.
