Flexible as never before – our PROFIsafe Gateways

The new ASi-3 Gateways from Bihl+Wiedemann in the PROFIsafe via PROFIBUS or PROFINET now offer the greatest possible flexibility when using the local I/Os in the integrated Safety Monitor. You can configure terminals as inputs (OSSD or potential-free) or as outputs: Either as 6 safety outputs plus 3 safety 2-channel inputs, or as 6 safety 2-channel inputs, or as standard I/Os – even any combination of the above. Take advantage of this flexibility in your system.

• 16 terminals on the integrated Safety Monitor for configuration, e.g.:
  • as 6 safety outputs plus 3 safety 2-channel inputs, or
  • as 6 safety 2-channel inputs, or
  • as standard I/Os, or
  • any combination thereof
• Read safety inputs via PROFIsafe and switch safety ASi outputs decentrally via PROFIsafe
• Available as PROFIsafe via PROFIBUS or via PROFINET
• Integrated ASi Master handles up to 31 safety or 248 standard I/Os (or a combination thereof)
• For use in compact or widely distributed systems
• ASi Power24V-capable for use in compact systems: Eliminates the ASi power supply
