Easily connect safety and fieldbus protocols
Connecting two different controls has never been easier. Simply use the “safe coupling” (BW5153) or the “fieldbus coupling” (BW5076) function from Bihl+Wiedemann. Both activations make coupling available as a feature in many modern gateways. All you need to do is select the corresponding gateways in the software and activate the license – and the coupling is ready for use. By the way: almost any controller can be coupled with another.
“Safe coupling” (BW5153, on the left) and “Fieldbus coupling” (BW5076, on the right) are a simple alternative to bus couplers or PN/PN couplers.
Easy coupling with Bihl+Wiedemann in detail
- Many different, safe fieldbuses and standard protocols (including ASi-5 Safety Gateways and ASi-5 Gateways) can be coupled
- Fieldbus data from both controllers and ASi networks can be used in each other’s network as well
- Easy commissioning and setups thanks to Bihl+Wiedemann Software Suite
- “Fieldbus coupling” (BW5076) and “Safe coupling” (BW5153) can be used in combination
- Safe coupling: Up to 16 bytes of safe data can be transferred (dependent on the specific gateway)
