ASi EtherNet/IP + ModbusTCP Gateways – always equipped with OPC UA and REST API

Our ASi gateways with EtherNet/IP + Modbus TCP interface are available with and without integrated safety monitor. They are ideal for connecting AS-Interface (ASi) to a Rockwell PLC. With the state-of-the-art IT interfaces OPC UA and REST API, you can implement IIoT projects quickly and easily. As an edge device, a single gateway collects data from hundreds of sensors and actuators - and can make it available to cloud-based databases, for example.

 

All modern ASi-5/ASi-3 gateways can be securely updated in the field and can therefore meet future safety requirements long after commissioning. In addition, ASi already guarantees a high level of cyber security due to its structure. Find out more about IIoT and Industry 4.0 here.

However, if you are dependent on CIP Safety communication – e.g. due to the use of safe Rockwell PLCs – you can alternatively use the ASi EtherNet/IP + ModbusTCP gateway BWU3857 (for 2 ASi circuits). The gateway offers integrated CIP safety communication for easy integration of the safe signals into the safe Rockwell PLC.
