Waterworks increases safety and flexibility with ASi-5
How can you benefit from ASi and ASi-5 in practice? The Englerup waterworks provides a current example. The Danish company has installed a new SCADA control system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), with an easily expandable AS-Interface solution at its heart, which was implemented with a minimum of cabling. All pumps, valves, and other components are now connected in a network controlled by an ASi master. The solution also features several ASi-5 Motor Modules, specially developed for Danfoss frequency inverters from the VLT series.
