The space-saving muting modules (ASi safety I/O modules) are equipped with up to 8 two-channel safe inputs and up to 2 two-channel safe outputs. Sometimes it does not make sense to bring all signals to one single point – for example, when the sensors are rather spread. In this case, Bihl+Wiedemann offers solutions using Active Distributors. The Active Distributors collect the signals right where they are generated. Furthermore they make standard sensors as well as actuators ASi capable.
